and opening the show tonight it is Conor Dwyer and his partner Sharna Burgess, they are dancing the Tango https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FbIs-C6F19o Nigel: quite a cheesy yet comical routine actually, technically it was lacking here and there but very much lovely to watch 7 Carrie-Ann: yes your posture needs a lot of improvements, i can see good potential for you in the latins, a crowdpleaser 7 Bruno: overall performance value was classy, sassy, over the top exactly what i like, although your frame was off several times 6 Helen: work needs to be done i see, but performance was entertaining 7 score: ''27'' next up, Danny Bonaduce and his partner Oksana Platero, with the Cha Cha Cha https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YjSHbA6HQQ Nigel: this was a huge mess from the start, at one point you seemed to be just walking around, no lip sync darling, that can only be in rupauls drag race 2 CarrieAnn: you were clearly having fun, a good time, however this performance was a disaster, Oksana darling get more of his fun side to shine that is his strongest side 5 Bruno: i agree with Carrie, you have such a natural charisma, lovely smile too, the dancing part leave that to what it is hopeless 5 Helen: i can see you as for the dancing, more a ballroom boy, but the latins you can be very much fun at 4 score: ''16'' next up John Walsh and his partner Dianne Buswell with the Cha Cha Cha to Don't Start Now https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oygrmJFKYZY Nigel: love your armography, you had fun, the dancing looked good, this was a HUGE surprise 7 CarrieAnn: John, omg for your age i expected the quality to be not that good, but this was great, move your hips slightly more but great job you two 8 Bruno: *falls off chair* what sort of evening is this, wow wow wow 8 Helen: good routine, i however like my cha cha's more sassier 7 score: ''30'' next up is Deana Martin and Tony Dovolani with foxtrot to ain't that a kick in the head https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7jgZTDLeIs Nigel: nice tribute to your father here, however the dancing was quite dull, no wow moments but also nothing awkward, more in the middle for me 6 CarrieAnn: this was a basic foxtrot, i don't see much potential but this was decent 6 Bruno: you could've had more storytelling maybe, more facial expressions, although a proper danced foxtrot 6 Helen: charming lovely dance, by a charming lovely couple, whats not to like, well done 6 score: ''24'' and last up for tonight's kick off show are Hannah Godwin and Valentin Chmerkovsky with the Waltz to Breaking Free https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qj67KE5VXI Nigel: dull dull dull 4 CarrieAnn: not keen on the Disney genre myself, Hannah you looked stunning though, posture wise not very much, few misses near the end of the routine 5 Bruno: genuinely lovely waltz, beautiful love story 7 Helen: sorry but i did not enjoy this, hope next week you step things up but this wasn't anything for me 4 score: ''20'' |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfCzMhZQ92U Nigel: doctor doctor, give me the news we got a bad case of loving you, Keo Finally you have someone who can dance hallelujah 7 CarrieAnn: need a bit more staccato in some slight moments, but still a amazing first performance from you 8 Bruno: cheesy, fun, sassy performance, that are the doctor's orders what i would want everyday 8 Helen: loved it, right amounts of cheesiness, fun but also very sassy and sensual what a tango needs 8 score: ''31'' up next it is Greg Gutfeld and his partner Witney Carson with Waltz to Hero https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0IA3ZvCkRkQ Nigel: wooden, lame, and hardly anything elegant in this performance 2 CarrieAnn: quite a disaster 3 Bruno: nice effort but it didn't pay off at all 5 Helen: i feel sorry for you Witney to be stuck with someone this wooden 2 score: ''12'' up next it is Ayesha Curry and AJ Pritchard with Cha Cha Cha to Like a Prayer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79fzeNUqQbQ Nigel: decent, but nothing standout 6 CarrieAnn: bring that wow factor next time a bit more, although a neat and clean cha cha 8 Bruno: love your straight leg action, nice extension of your arm lines, this was solid 7 Helen: proper cha cha without any gimmick 7 score: ''28'' up next it are Michael Weatherly and Lindsay Arnold with Waltz to In The Silence https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T52Sd_oXpoA Nigel: performed very well, technically it had some flaws here and there 6 CarrieAnn: love the song, love the storytelling, you can go far 7 Bruno: A Waltz in the style of Anthony DiNozzo, smooth, charming, with a subtle hint of fun, this was class 7 Helen: thank you for this wonderful waltz which had everything what you can like in this dance 7 score: ''27'' up next are Larry Rose III and Anna Trebunskaya with Waltz to Overcome https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_DUfWnBL1nw Nigel: i felt the emotion, however it was danced very poorly sadly 5 CarrieAnn: you need to learn how to attack a dance, tell a story, but the emotion was there 6 Bruno: no heel leads, not much leading at all from you, emotion was there but the technical execution was poor 5 Helen: i give you benefit of the doubt here my friend, only week 1 this had me in tears, wow but i agree with my colleague judges 6 score: ''22'' up next are Kristin Dos Santos and Valentin Chmerkovsky with Jive to Rhythm of the night https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YgBzaEvo4Dc Nigel: felt like a pure stage show, also you need to point your feet slightly more in a Jive, but other than that this was superb 8 CarrieAnn: fabulous musical theatre inspired jive routine, also lovin the Chemistry 8 Bruno: a great first dance for you, Val's choreo was again a Delight to watch too 8 Helen: phenomenal jive, few tiny details to pick up on, but this was amazing 9 score: ''33'' up next are Jeff Timmons and Jenna Johnson with Cha Cha Cha to Beautiful https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSOzN0eihsE Nigel: had expected way more rhythm from you, coming from a Boyband, this was rather robotic, had not much musicality, technically it was decent, but feel a dance more 6 CarrieAnn: disagree there Nige, i saw a nice mr smooth yes this was a good routine 7 Bruno: beautiful routine, no pun intended 7 Helen: it lacked flow yes, but still it wasn't bad either 6 score: ''26'' next up are Jordin Sparks and Sasha Farber with Tango to All Night https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FWRT9C9XMQ Nigel: fierce, staccato all over, it had fire, finesse LOVED IT 8 CarrieAnn: you're a showgirl i can see that, i'd say a frontrunner too 8 Bruno: Beyonce who, Nicole Scherzinger who, Jordin you are a firecracker on the dancefloor wow 9 Helen: agree with Bruno, you owned that dancefloor 9 score: ''34'' and last up are Michaela Watkins and Derek Hough with Samba to Pegadito Suavecito https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBh3tXXKPo8 Nigel: love the hip action, it seems Derek can learn anyone how to dance 7 CarrieAnn: gave me vibes of Brazil, Mexico, this was fab 8 Bruno: it was fun to watch, although keep improving in training 7 Helen: you got charisma my dear, can see you becoming a people's champion, and routine was also decent 7 score: ''29'' |

dancing first tonight it are Larry Rose III & Anna Trebunskaya with the Paso Doble to Space Jam https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-gUd88gc8WA Nigel: fun, cheesy, it did lack important paso elements such as right shapings but this was decent 6 CarrieAnn: no correct paso shapings, your lines looked horrendous, although it was properly danced, performed 6 Bruno: for performance entertainment value it was fab, but for the technique it was awful 5 Helen: great effort at telling the story for a non-actor, however work on the technique loads more next time 6 score: ''23'' up next it are Michaela Watkins and Derek Hough with Foxtrot to Believe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-xc12YiwmI Nigel: there was nice bit of content here, also love you went for the more emotional foxtrot rather than the swing/sway one, this was good 8 CarrieAnn: emotion check, storytelling check, glamour check, correct footwork check 8 Bruno: i like ballroom michaela lots more than the latin michaela, this was gorgeous 8 Helen: decent step upwards from last week, keep that going 8 score: ''32'' up next it are Deana Martin and Tony Dovolani with Cha Cha Cha to Venus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4-1ASpdT1Y Nigel: wooden, no hip action whatsoever, quite a disaster compared to last week 3 CarrieAnn: love how you started up there on that cloud coming down, that takes courage, as for the dancing lets not talk further about that mess 5 Bruno: forget about this week, come back stronger next week i hope 4 Helen: nice efforts here and there with the performing, selling this dance but it wasn't your dance i'm afraid 5 score: ''17'' up next it are Danny Bonaduce and Oksana Platero with Foxtrot to I think i love you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bb4FMn-IWEY Nigel: there was swing, musicality, you sold the performance, there were mistakes but still great efforts at trying to hide them 5 CarrieAnn: love the amount of detail in this performance, overall this was a improvement from last week so well done 6 Bruno: keep trying to improve, yes this was a great entertaining performance 6 Helen: decent, seeing more potential than last week 5 score: ''22'' up next are Jeff Timmons and Jenna Johnson Quickstep to Complicated https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VAJXrp7ESbc Nigel: bit pedestrian in places, although it looked decent, overall performance also very watchable 6 CarrieAnn: interesting choice of music, i personally like it, a lot 7 Bruno: this was mediocre, i think you have loads more in you 6 Helen: good efforts at a faster dance, also nice Chemistry you got with Jenna in hold 7 score: ''26'' and last up for now (we will resume with rest of couples bit later on), Hannah Godwin and Gleb Savchenko with Cha Cha Cha to Try Everything https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6rP-YP4c5I Nigel: last week was too safe, too sickly sweet, this week wow i love sassy Hannah, good hip action, good leg action yes well done 7 CarrieAnn: no gleb special, proud of you and Hannah this was fun to watch 7 Bruno: fiery, fierce diva inside you Hannah, loved it 7 Helen: last week was crap, this week is fab, you saved yourself this week with this energetic cha cha 8 score: ''29'' |
