No more Casa Amor please

As much as I enjoy the drama it causes, it's been done to death now, no need to do another one. We know what to expect from it and it always produces the same storylines The story always focuses on one major couple, with a few others also tested, and the others just in the background. Not only that, but it's completely unfair to the new islanders who receive no airtime at all. Having 12 new additions is overkill anyway too, it's hard enough keeping up with the originals, let alone 12 new people. It also drags and they keep repeating the same challenges which I'm sick of.

It's quite embarrassing that the producers keep using this twist every year now, the novelty wore off very quickly as far as I'm concerned. They need to up their game in the next series. I love this show but if nothing changes in the next series then my enthusiasm will drop very quickly.

I don't even think they see it as a 'twist' anymore. It's more or less became part of the format. I would like them to drop it next series.

no need to do it anymore now they know they'll never top this legend

It’s the same production company as IAC, which follows the exact same format year on year with similar trials/same old twists etc etc.

They’ll continue with Casa Amor for series to come, it usually causes an upsurge in viewing figures and gets people talking on social media. I agree that it’s lazy of them and it’s getting a bit boring now but I am very doubtful any future series won’t have a Casa Amor.

I think to mix it up a bit at the casa amor stage bring back ex islanders either from the same series or past series. Islanders tend to fancy islanders from other series and send each other dms etc so it could be interesting

And they’ve only not repeated some of the twists they banged out in 3/4/5 this series because it’s six weeks (and still we’ve had the least compatible couple vote for an example). Otherwise I have no doubt we’d have had repeats of the Jess/Mike, Eyal/Zara, Tom/Arabella style dumping and the likes.

I totally agree Tony

Agree with everything here Tony :clap1:. I too enjoy the drama of Casa Amor but the producers on this show are lazy as hell, just churning out the same ol tired tasks and twists. Whilst I’m still watching this series, I’m beginning to get a bit fed up of the repetitiveness that we’ve had for the last few years. I will watch the next one in the summer in hopes that they bring some new and fresh ideas, but if it doesn’t change, it will probably be the last series I watch tbh.

Casa Amor does bring the drama but they need to come up with something new. Georgia,Amber and Shaughna all had the same thing happened and we know it's going to happen to another female in the summer. it's getting predicable, we need a shock,

Cal. 08-02-2020 07:33 PM

Yeah I agree I think it’s become part of the format of the show now, as respective as it may be. I slag it off but always watch it and like others have said it’s always the ratings peak of the series. However, I think they should work towards either creating more online content/extension of the episodes perhaps so we can actually get to know all the Casa Amor islanders, otherwise it seems silly even classing them as anything other than plot devices for the show.

Dogeatdog 08-02-2020 07:41 PM

Would actually like to see more of this sort of thing in the main show tbh.

We need it to happen the other way round for a change

If they're gonna keep doing it, they should put in less Casa Amor islanders.

12 is way too many to get to know in a few days and half of them end up getting no airtime and dumped while the ones who get into the main villa are fodder to keep the originals safe.

I think 6-8 people would work better and it could make things more interesting as originals could compete for the same new girl/guy when they have fewer options.

They need to bring back the postcard as well. What's the point of splitting them up if the producers aren't gonna mess with them. Casa Amor this series was **** because they were just playing games and having chats.

Ammi 09-02-2020 05:53 AM

...I think they’ll keep on doing it because as Laura said..‘it’s the ultimate test’...so they see it as their show’s highlight, really...as Jason said, I think if there were less new ones to go in...it could make for a more interesting dynamic...

mr rochester 10-02-2020 05:20 PM

Far too many in Casa Amore...makes a mockery of contestants who get no airtime...

armand.kay 10-02-2020 05:33 PM

like at least spice it up like they really just copy and paste the same twist....
