Favourite Love Island Bromance
 

Over the past few series there’s always been that one bromance in the show that always finds a deeper connection than some of the couples themselves :laugh: but which one has been your favourite? And what is the reason why?

Mine is probably Luke². They just seem to have a natural bond with one another and it doesn’t feel forced like what Jack and Dr Alex’s did (imo) and they don’t come across as a bit cringy like what Chris and Kem did.

Luke T and Luke M are my favourites but I did like Chris and Kem. The rest i only liked 1 and hated the other like I liked Tommy and hated Curtis, i liked Jack and hated Dr Alex.

Luke and Luke. I never liked Kem, Curtis or Dr Alex.

Chris/Kem and Luke M/T are my favourites. Their friendships were great to watch, very real and genuine and both bromances bounced off each other. I love how Luke T has been there for Luke M. Chris and Kem literally had the entire nation gripped. They were LI3 in a nutshell. It's great that they're still friends.

The other two were just fake, false and way too forced. I cringed so many times at their pathetic attempts to replicate Chris and Kem. :idc:

Btw Big Evil, you left out Wes and Josh.

I'm gonna vote for Curtis and Tommy bc despite not watching LI5 I enjoyed them on the boxer/ballroom show they did x

Never been a huge fan of any, Chris & Kem probably tho. Mainly for Chris, adored him.

Zara & Kady is the ELITE LI friendship tho...

It’s got to be Chris & Kem just for the fact they were the OGs.

Where did i say they faked their friendship? Along with Camilla, they were a massive reason as to why series 3 was a success. The whole nation was talking about their bromance. People even wanted them to couple up and win the show together.

Tbf BBUK-Fan I gotta back Tony here as well. Chris & Kem’s bromance is probabaly one of the first things people think of when it comes to S3. I remember watching the series (and looking at all the memes and stuff) at the time and they were extremely popular so much so that they released there own song after the show finished.

In regards to people faking friendships. I don’t think any of these friendships are fake so to speak but I do think they are influenced to an extent by producers. This is what I always felt about Jack and Dr Alex’s friendship. They were friends but I definitely thought that the producers tried to show it as bromance and replicate what Chris & Kem did the year prior because it was popular and a taking point on social media to keep people engaged in the show. It felt forced and in doing so it wouldn’t surprise me why people would think that these friendships are now faked for islanders to gain airtime, popularity (including after the series ends) and sustain their longevity in the show (a clever game plan to try and win).
