Love Island taking another day off air

The show returns tomorrow.

I expected as much, I think a lot of the staff will have known Caroline and been friends with her. They are bound to be devastated.

Jigs 16-02-2020 05:05 PM

I do wonder if they have told the current Islanders about this news?

Tony Montana 16-02-2020 05:07 PM

Right decision to not air it tonight.

According to the press, the islanders are unaware and it’s business as usual inside the villa.

I'd imagine they have been told.

Smithy 16-02-2020 05:17 PM

I can’t imagine them being told, it’s all they’d talk about and make a depressing af show

Saph 16-02-2020 05:17 PM

I dont think they would've been told tbh

Wizard. 16-02-2020 06:02 PM

I thought so and it’s the right decision I can’t imagine Ian being in the mood to make jokes right now

Marsh. 16-02-2020 06:03 PM

It won't return after the series though.

If anything it will do a CBB and take a "12 month rest" before coming back in summer 2021.

Why tonight’s but not tomorrow’s ?

Why have they drawn the line after two episodes ?

Dropping last night’s was a nice gesture .

You gotta be kidding?

Dogeatdog 16-02-2020 06:07 PM

Was expecting this and I personally think the right decision has been made.

This is what I think. They won’t have a summer or winter series next year and it’ll be back next summer.

Yes.

Alf 16-02-2020 06:17 PM

Yes, it was tragic what happened, but they showed their mark of respect by cancelling last night's, which was fair.

What happened to our stiff upper lip and the show must go on? We're a snivelling wreck now.

Let's not loose the plot.

Not really the point. It was Caroline's show. Cancelling it for the weekend is hardly a "snivelling wreck". She's been dead barely 24 hours.

Bit fed up of you responding to all my posts trying to bait me into an argument. Shoo.

Trouble1321075 16-02-2020 07:06 PM

I dont mind that they are not airing tonights episode but it does strike me as silly.
They cant skip the episode entirely. It just means tonights episode will be aired tomorrow and so forth going forward.

So how do you suggest we quantity the grief .. the night of the tragedy was just perfect.. they’ve now pulled tonight’s show so tomorrow there will fresh uproar and disproval ..

‘ How can they go ahead with the show after just three days !’

Remember some are now calling for ALL reality shows to be completely stopped !!

It’s only my opinion but I feel pulling last night’s was fitting ..

Nothing to do with what I said. She died yesterday. Pulling the show for the weekend before coming back on Monday is not grounds to say people are a "snivelling wreck" or overreacting. Let's get some perspective.

Crass to be up in arms that there is no episode tonight.
