This happened to me in the last house.
I asked him to hang on while I put my pc on.
Let him wait for a while then asked if he could do something for me first, he politely agreed, so I told him to go and fook himself.
My daughter nearly wet herself laughing when I told her, she has never heard me swear like that before.

Thing is, they caught my late sister in law out with this scam a few years back.

They rung the house the other day and my Nana answered and it was some bitch pretending to be from Amazon, they said they were calling to confirm the prime membership, my Nan knows I have prime so she tried to pass the phone to me and as she did I could hear them protesting and saying they needed to just confirm something on her card.

It's so gross they openly prey on the elderly. I listened for a moment and they hung up on me probably knowing I would be a bit more savvy. Scumbags.

I had the PC ‘call’ a few months ago .. I humoured him for a few minutes just to see where it would go .. basically he gave me the instruction to press CONTROL -ALT -R ...... I googled what the instruction meant and it would have given them REMOTE CONTROL of our PC / finances apparently

Yeah I made a thread about these scammers not long ago, it's harrassment !!! :shocked: .

They're so persistent & desperate , they pretend they're anything from internet broadband to pc trouble to Amazon , it's disgusting :bored: .

They change their number multiple times aswell, trying to mask themselves.
