Hell yeah.
3x24 from Iceland arrived yesterday. But I am a leader not a sheep when it comes to toilet roll. None of my friends and family will go without, or my elderly neighbours. |

No. Toilet roll, of all things! I mean as a piece of social psychology it's fascinating... but really quite bizarre. Hand sanitizer / soap makes sense maybe but toilet roll I feel like can only be put down to some sort of mass delusion... I literally can't think of many things LESS necessary to stockpile.

I'm not a sad pathetic person so no,
Also if says a lot about a person who would rather buy 10 packs and leave someone without 1 pack |
my usual brand was sold out so i got a soothing moisturising variant for the same price
|
when i was a kid and we ran out we just used a newspaper
|
No,I’ve actually bought nothing extra.
You see there will be a point wen all the ******* have there houses full of toilet paper and the supermarkets will have restocked. |
People should be toilet roll shamed by someone with a loud speaker in the shop.
|
Apparently the reason for TR buying is down to how bulky it is and so shops wont have huge supplies due to how much space it takes to stock it, makes sense I suppose
|
people will have run out of things to panic buy soon, then the shelves will return to fully stocked. We don't have a supply issue at the moment so there is zero need to panic buy ... but people are not blessed with brains

Both of the above posts I agree with, infected numbers are still in the hundreds in this country.

"Before the advent of modern toilet paper many different materials were used for the same purposes. Different materials were used depending upon the country, weather conditions, social customs and status. People used leaves, grass, ferns, corn cobs, maize, fruit skins, seashells, stone, sand, moss, snow and water."
