The company behind Big Brother Australia has denied reports of a ‘big stuff-up’ on the current production.

On Friday online outlets reported that the eviction of a housemate wasn’t recorded. This is not true.

A spokesperson for Endemol Shine Australia told 7NEWS.com.au, “Claims that all footage was not recorded during an eviction are inaccurate. Some human-operated cameras failed to record for a few hours on one day. However, all 56 ‘hot head cameras’ in the house were totally unaffected and continued to record throughout filming and eviction.”

The online reports also suggested that celebrity intruders would be brought into the house due to ‘issues’ with casting. This is not true.

“All other claims regarding casting and intruders are simply not true”, the Endemol Shine Australia spokesperson said.
