Anyone else missing hugs yet.

:( I genuinely feel for people who are in isolation and living alone. Hang in there Parmy.

Safest place to be if you ask me.

I've told my boss I ain't coming in if I have to use public transport. My workmates keep thier distance, and I constantly wash my hands and sanitise whenever possible.

Still ****ting it though being down this end of the UK,..I have to go into london tomorrow for the first time since going back to work on Tuesday. Into people's houses.

I have always had personal space issues......but I would give anything to be able to go and give my dad a hug right now. I'm not missing the lame ass handshakes some people offer....I am of the ilk that if you want to shake my hand after I have met/interviewed you, you better leave me fearing for my bones. Can't stand a weird clammy fingertip shake

We're social distancing... together. So as well as being able to Skype my family, I'm getting my full quota of hugs right now. In fact, I know cutting yourself off from the world is awful for some people, but I personally have no problem with it right now.

caprimint 20-03-2020 11:16 AM

I never hug anyone anyway so no difference :dazzler:

Hand sanitiser also doubles as a nice lubricator.:smug:

Ahh the baby phase Livia :flutter:. I have fond memories of it, you just exist in this little family bubble for a couple of years and nothing else seems all that important.

You can't really social distance with a family though, like you said you have to social distance as a unit! There's no world in which my youngest isn't climbing into my face to make eye contact whilst touching noses and laughing hysterically, or my eldest isn't standing behind me sneezing openly over my tikka chicken wrap then refusing to apologise ... :umm2:.

Also if one of us gets it we're all getting it. Home quarantine is one thing but the idea that any of us are going to be "isolated away" into one room if we get it is just nonsense.

D: I really would not recommend this Parmy! Hand-san up the willyhole will NOT be a pleasant experience!
