I’ve only got one more episode to watch but it’s been crazy!

I like Joe but at the same time he’s such an awful person with how he treated the animals and then luring young men in with drugs

That when he started out, Joe himself really did care about the animals, and was (even in misguided ways) trying to help them... But as the money increased, his care for the animals decreased, until it became ALL about money and reputation and any care for the animals was totally gone. He was totally corrupted by the small slice of power and attention he got in his own "little kingdom".

The whole thing is just too wild. Every time you think a plot twist is done, you have another one, and another one, and another one. Every 15 minutes or less it's something more insane than the previous one. I understand the memes about it now :skull:
I'm on episode 3 and already it's...insane! Nothing is normal or right about the whole story.

My favourite by far is the "Ruger won't fire without a clip lol" episode :omgno:. The moment itself is so shocking, and then Joe is singing at the funeral and its so surreal, and then 10 minutes later he's getting remarried :joker:

He's also on a Louis Theroux documentary about captive wild animals in the US and in that he's married to some bloke called Paul not in the Netflix documentary who apparently goes to prison for murder :skull:

Just finished watching that episode. We rewinded it a couple of times too just to make sure it was really happening :skull:
