Self-isolating tips?
I thought we could share our tips for being self isolated.
Well this is what I'm currently doing: - Uni work - Creative writing - Cleaning (I bought a new iron to do all my ironing) - Exercise you can go out once a day - Arts and crafts - Bought some paint to paint my plain tapestry - Gaming: playing the PS4 and us TiBB'ers have rejoined Tengaged - Netflix, Disney+ |
Same normal routine for me, apart from all the Messages, texts and phone calls.
No visitors but keeping in touch  |
•*Work - I am a teacher so setting stuff for the pupils weekly.
•*Disney+, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video •*Walking and exploring my neighbourhood • Animal Crossing / Pokémon •*Organising my rooms one at a time. •*Drawing on iPad. I find it good to have my work in the study, and eating/leisure away from that, so you don't stay in one place. |
Friday night must be tune night..something to look forward to after a very very hard week.
|
- gardening (even if you don't have that much experience at that, it is still a nice distraction)
- crossword puzzles, board games - listening to music, dancing by yourself to some of your favourite tunes - reading some nice gardening, cooking books - playing PS3 games, ok might be ''dated'' as some on here might say but i still like playing on that - watching funny videos on youtube |
pick one day a week to avoid all news, it does wonders for mental health
never watch news on repeat, watch for 5-10 mins and then switch to something else learn something new every day, doesn't need to be anything big, just something to give you a feeling of accomplishment |
Have a nice long bubble bath every day
|
No movement to a crowded place.
Only do essential travels to short distances ie: corner/local store/market. Store visit every 2-4 days. Buy in consideration, don't bulk too much. Store visit only 10-30 minutes before the store closes Buy essentials first, then the other things. If you have to go to the store, wear a face mask the whole time you're in When you arrive to your home, wash your hands with disinfectation solution/substance/gel before you do anything else after closing the door Wash your hands frequently with soap or hand disinfectation gel. Put HDG only in hand that are dry. |
