Crimson Dynamo 02-04-2020 11:12 AM

first proper one in 8 years, that is quite a gap and shows how much this game is loved

Crimson Dynamo 02-04-2020 11:13 AM

also how many people are cutting their own hair and playing it

Shaun 02-04-2020 11:53 AM

No there’s no story, you like, like on an island and catch bugs and fish and stuff

There's a storyish where you do stuff for Tom nook but then you can make the island better than before.

Currently on Amazon the bundle of the switch and animal crossing is going for £870 :skull:

... but delivery is free :cheer2:

It's kind of the perfect game for a lockdown, it's no surprise that people are going mad for it now. It was always going to be a huge game but the way things are have only benefited it's success.

Ah I used to love this game back when I was 12/13. Put hours into it and used to spend ages talking to the same few people on there and hanging out in their villages then my DS broke one day and I had no way of ever getting in contact with them again </3

Shaun 17-04-2020 07:47 PM

:omgno: Do you reckon if I tell my daughter her Switch "broke" I'll get away with it? She barely looks at it.

She also insisted that I buy her Animal Crossing last week and she's played it maybe twice :idc:. My wife is eyeballing it though. She has a few assignments due over the next couple of weeks but once they're done I'm pretty sure she's going to kidnap Animal Crossing.
