Would people be up for a weekly “pub” quiz?
 

So hear me out, I have this idea...

I love a good pop/pub-style quiz and it’s something I’m missing whilst we’re all in lockdown.

Was thinking what if I were to hold one say once a week here, say 40/50 questions a time covering almost everything - Pop culture, music, movies, tv, geography, history etc.

Obviously you’d have to PROMISE to not Google anything which is the tricky bit, no cheating allowed! Make it fair for everyone.

Could it work? :shrug:

(If there’s one already run here I do apologise but I’ve clearly missed it! :skull: )

I love this idea, I would participate! I think we'd be able to tell who is googling things.

I wouldn't google. I would do it for the fun of it.

Did you ever see the pub quiz that used to be held on here Lala? The host would use pictures of places (for geography for example) that can’t be googled/reverse searched

Just an idea If you wanted to cut down on the cheating

Probably won't work if this rule is present.

People would probably google anyways, whether one says they won't.

I was watching one on a Youtube live stream, and the way they did it was the first person to answer the question right in the chat got won a point

That stops people Googling.

My human self cannot do speed type competitions. So I have to bow out.

Maybe have a time limit on the quiz, so people don't have time to Google every question. Also, previously people posted pictured that they'd frigged with (excuse the technical terminology) to stop people searching the pic.

Anyhoo… I love a quiz me, count me in.
