Are females better leaders than males during global crises?

Or vice versa? In response to one of the Guardian’s latest articles (link below). I just thought it would be nice to respectfully spin this out in some detail.

Depends on the individual person, and the crisis in question.

Theresa May is female, and I can't see her doing much better than BoJo has been.

Obviously it depends on the individual. All’s I can see is Jacinda Adern looks like she’s done amazing.

And do you think she’d have skipped 5 meetings?

I think that her sex wouldn't have influenced this either way unless she was on the blob.

No they are in Control
of Smaller Nations

Either way females seem to be doing a much better job so far.

The only way to really compare would be to look at countries of similar sizes who are lead by either gender. Scotland is a fairly small "country", which countries of a similar size have a male leader, and how are they doing?

I'm sure it's an individual thing and not down to gender.

Denver 26-04-2020 10:01 AM

South Africa has done pretty good work the virus so far and they have a male leader

bots 26-04-2020 10:14 AM

with very few exceptions, all countries have the same basic approach to handling the virus, it doesn't matter what gender they are.

Livia 26-04-2020 11:20 AM

As with everything else, it should be the best person possible, regardless of genitalia.

caprimint 26-04-2020 11:40 AM

She would've been rivaling Trump and Winnie The Pooh for incompetence I reckon.

Nothing to do with man or woman
