The Thomas Crown Affair has a good remake, though I haven't seen the original.

I really like the reboot of Friday the 13th even though a lot of fans hate it and I’d actually say its my favourite in the series? So that. I’d say Texas Chainsaw Massacre’s remake as well. I’ve never seen the originals but I’ve heard the remakes (which I’ve seen) for Piranha and The Hills Have Eyes are far better than the originals.

The original piranha is awful

The Thing! Obviously not the crap from like 2011, but the one from the 1980s. Apparently it's a remake of an even older movie, from like the 50s!

The Fly!

101 Dalmations with Glenn Close is good. Jungle Book is the only decent recent Disney "live action" film.
