I can’t believe that we’re still in a place where people have to try to not be racist

It's like with the sexual assault stuff and people up in arms because "not raping" seemed such a calamitous infringement on their rights.

I just read somewhere that not being racist is not enough, we have to be anti-racism. Very important to think about.

I'm white and have experienced a mass of anti-Semitism on this forum so it amuses me when someone posts stuff like this because the only racism they understand is white on black. I've had to make a fuss to get deeply offensive posts removed because the mods mostly ignore them. Is that not racism, or is that just allowed these days?

It's not enough not to be racist. You have to be anti-racist, even if you don't like the person being abused.

The UK public have always loved to delude themselves, thinking that the UK is a haven of tolerance is hysterical. We're not the US and we're not the Middle East but that doesn't make us perfect because we aren't as bad as the worst examples.
