Bit of a click bait title to suggest she is racist tbh and there is no proof in that tweet he is an ambulance driver, he also said he was arrested for a driving offence which means you cant drive an ambulance?

Where does the title say she is racist?

I said it turns out he's an ambulance driver.

Convictions can be "spent" especially if they're not drug or violence related.

He didn’t suggest she was racist, he was let go once they found his job Id and being arrested doesn’t mean charges were brought so he can be an ambulance driver

caprimint 29-05-2020 02:00 PM

There's literally no context to this at all?

Why is he stood in the middle of an estate? :umm2:

Marsh. 29-05-2020 02:03 PM

Cummings: *travels 260 miles for an Easter jolly*

TiBB: So? Government guidelines weren't laws.

Common man: *stands on an estate*

TiBB: Why is he stood in the middle of an estate? :umm2: (He lives there)

Oliver_W 29-05-2020 02:03 PM

How were they supposed to know he's an ambulance driver if he was there to meet his friend? Not enough context to really comment on this.

Though they should have done this with Cummings.

Why does it matter? He says on the vid he lives near there and he's come to see some friends.

Have you ever been arrested for standing near to where people live?

Stopping him, asking what he's doing and even asking him to move along; fine.

Moving to cuff someone who is being 100% compliant? No. She looks nervous and inexperienced IMO. Which is a problem in itself.

Yeah, almost like she was being as nice as possible to whack them cuffs on quick as possible before her voice broke. She'd decided she was cuffing and taking him "into custody" before even approaching him.

Because if you don't have full context you can't make a proper judgement

Like I assume there was a reason the police were there to begin with and may have also had a reason for asking him questions...?

Indeed, she also tipped her hand: she asked "Have you ever been arrested BEFORE", clearly indicating an intent to arrest when literally nothing at all had happened, and she hadn't even finished the basic questions.

You put black guy in your title to insulate he was arrested for being black

I've never stood in the open during a "lockdown".

Literally

This has happened to many people during Coronavirus, the police have kinda been made redundant so need to find their own crimes to solve

They had probably been tipped off about dealing in the area but that doesn't matter - that alone doesn't offer a good reason for physically restraining or cuffing someone who has already consented to being searched?

The first time I've ever seen anyone try to seriously say the police are underworked. :skull:

There's not even any reasonable reason to be suspicious though.
