Plans to transform Manston Airport into a freight
cargo air hub have today been given the green light
paving the way for hundreds of jobs to be created
and a £300 million boost to East Kent.]

Last year the High Court ordered
the Department for Transport to reconsider
its decision to grant permission for
the works in east Kent.

Owners RiverOak said it will now push
on with a £500m redevelopment of the
former Battle of Britain airfield.]
