Never Really Over is on this album, I’d assume they kinda restarted the era cause Small Talk and Harleys flopped so much (even though the latter still made the album)

I’m assuming it’s bc NRO didn’t go #1 which is stupid, bc it’s been the best song she’s released out of the bunch and every song since then has done worse

She's had over a year since Never Really Over and the best that she could come up with is... a worse version of This Is How We Do? oh Katy

Album is out, I’m only 3 tracks in but it’s already better than witness and prism

i actually think this is her worst.. :skull: teary eyes and cry about it later are cute and ofc harley and NRO but everything else is just bland.

Yeah, it’s better than both but it’s still missing something. It’s pretty bland tbh

erm witness is criminally underrated, i won’t take slander

I actually really like the album, Daisies and Smile are terrible idk why she even bothered including them..

The album is alright, nothing special. I don't think she's grown much as an artist and it's really telling.

Although Small Talk was robbed!

I actually loved this album. It's exactly the kind of music I enjoy. My 2nd favourite Katy album after Prism (although I like all a lot)

My top:
1. Prism
Just the kind of pop I love, many would call it basic but that's exactly my taste.
2. Smile
Same.
3. Witness
Her most experimental album. Very suitable for 2017 and underrated.
4. Teenage Dream
Great bubblegum pop tunes, maybe a tad immature but it makes sense considering it was her 2nd album.
5. One of the Boys
Same basically, just a different genre, more pop-rock which is enjoyable to me as well and more suitable for that decade.
