Nintendo Direct 20th July?
 

Heavy rumours that Nintendo Direct is happening sometime next week. It’ll probably be a mini if true and is heavily rumoured to be based around the Mario re-releases, could we get a mention of Breath of the Wild 2?

True, I haven’t even played Odyssey yet and we just got Paper Mario, but I just need Super Mario Galaxy for switch NOW. But yes we need a new IP, I’m not interested in Splatoon

I want Bayonetta 3 or Metroid Prime 4 OR Okami 2

If the Mario remasters are finally revealed I’ll be so happy

My guess is that they'll announce a Mario game or two, probably the re-releases as others have said.

If it's basically meant to be what they would have announced at E3 then we're probably in for a few reveals, I expect we'll see some Pokemon stuff, maybe not details of the Frozen Tundra yet, unless it's being brought forward.

I don't know how likely BOTW2 is but I do hope Bayonetta 3 makes a reappearance at some point.

It's actually quite possible. Rare is owned by Microsoft but Microsoft have a partnership with Nintendo that has seen Xbox exclusives come to the Switch. It's probably not likely a Banjo game has been in development with nary a leak but it's not impossible.

Any news on this?

Outside of a new Shin Megami Tensei game, not much was announced.
