As Parliament gets Repaired they want to go to York
So the PM has said.
Parliament in York the local hookers would like that. Debated on Times radio now https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-53425423 [The move, if it happens, is expected to take place around 2025. Other possible London locations proposed by Mr Johnson in the letter to David Goldstone and Sarah Johnson, who are overseeing the restoration project, include Richmond House, the QEII (Queen Elizabeth II Centre) and City Hall.] |
Hard to blame them, York is beautiful.

It'd cost afortune. What about the MPs' staff? They all live within commuting distance of Westminster, are they going to go too? There is plenty of empty office space in London. Following a hugely costly pandemic, I'd like to see them make do.

Now the latest
is Parliament despite spending £70million on the move they are staying put. While the Work is being done Ref: Tom Live in Westminster on GBnewsHD Great Breakfast. |
