A group of us slept in a dilapidated WWII air raid shelter in the middle of a forest when we were like 16 after being thrown out from a house party when the host's parents abruptly returned and we couldn't go home because we'd lied about where we were. That was an experience... You know that Bushtucker Trial they do underground with all of the rats and water? Yeah imagine that but with a bit of Blair Witch thrown in... :joker:
Either that or this hostel in London when I was on a uni field trip to a design conference. Absolutely horrendous and genuinely feared for my life! Filthy rooms with literal holes in the walls, no lock on the door, broken air con in a heatwave (40 degrees C one day), randomers on God knows what up and down the corridors all night high as kites and fighting etc. Eugh. |
^ my cousin has some of those on her farm and I couldn’t even go in one during the day, never mind at night. (The ww2 shelter thing, not the youth hostels)

In a bathtub in a hotel room with my coat over me. I had missed the last train, my friend had brought a girl back to his hotel room but I had nowhere else to go and I didn't want to hear "stuff" so I had to sleep in the bathroom. I woke up freezing cold at 6am and had to have a hot shower to warm up, then wandered off for the first train home feeling like death.
