Big Brother All-Stars Edition Premieres Wednesday, Aug. 5

Big Brother returns on Aug. 5 at 9/8c with an all-star cast who have one thing in common: something to prove.

The wait is over, BB fans!

The summer reality staple Big Brother will return for its 22nd season with a two-hour live move-in premiere event on Wednesday, Aug. 5 at 9/8c on CBS and CBS All Access.

This season features an all-star returning cast of players who have one thing in common: all of them have something to prove!

This summer marks Big Brother's 20th anniversary since debuting on CBS on July 5, 2000. Season 22 is the second time in the series' history to feature an all-star cast, the first being in 2006.

Once again, fans can look forward to checking in on the Houseguests three times a week. Following the premiere, the series will air Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 8/7c on CBS and CBS All Access, with Thursdays being the live eviction show hosted by Julie Chen Moonves.

The all-star Houseguests, including winners, finalists, legends, memorable personalities, and some of the best to never win the game, will be announced closer to premiere.

Big Brother production will follow specific health and safety protocols for COVID-19 with the welfare of everyone involved as the highest priority.

Houseguests will undergo a quarantine period prior to production and will be tested several times prior to entering the house. Once inside, they will be tested weekly during the season and have no contact with any crew members, and all supplies delivered will be disinfected. In addition, the live show will not have a studio audience.

All staff and crew members will be tested prior to commencing work on a regular basis, as well as screened daily for symptoms. They'll be required to wear PPE and will work in pods to enhance social distancing. In addition, a COVID-19 compliance officer will be on staff to monitor and enforce all health and safety COVID-19 protocols.

As always, Big Brother follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with 94 HD cameras and 113 microphones, recording their every move 24 hours a day.

Each week, someone will be voted out of the house, with the last remaining Houseguest receiving the grand prize of $500,000.

Don't miss the season premiere of Big Brother on Wednesday, Aug. 5 at 9/8c on CBS and CBS All Access.

Then, watch all-new episodes of Big Brother on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 8/7c on CBS and CBS All Access.

I will be rooting for Daniele Donato - I hope she is the same as she was in her previous seasons

DouglasS 23-07-2020 02:08 PM

Why would anyone want Bayleigh? :umm2: (or Nicole BB18, but I guess I can see her appeal as she was alright on BB16, just a rat on 18)

This is meant to be All Stars we want Zach Rance

Joe. 23-07-2020 02:17 PM

No Keesha? Can’t really call it all stars then ay?

Macie Lightfoot 23-07-2020 02:17 PM

As I said in the last thread, I feel like everyone needs to curb their excitement because if anything has remained true time and time again, it’s that returning player seasons never fail to disappoint. I think that might serve especially true on BB since everyone is even more aware of the cameras and the cesspool known as stan Twitter, and thus we’ll have people largely censoring themselves or playing up a character and not seeing their true colors or their mask slip or whatever your favorite BBUK expression is.

JerseyWins 23-07-2020 02:17 PM

Yeah I haven’t heard a thing about Zach Rance. Where he at????

Macie Lightfoot 23-07-2020 02:20 PM

Nowhere to be seen thankfully.

If there’s one positive that comes from COVID’s impact on this, there won’t be audiences for evictions so we won’t get people holding the door open for JC and others to wave and pander to the crowd.

This is gonna be the first season of BBUS since BBOTT to have a live launch. I'm so excited!

Ramsay 23-07-2020 02:31 PM

Excited :clap1:

Aw yes I hate that ****

I’ll actually try and keep up with this season

Calderyon 23-07-2020 02:38 PM

Good.

But hopefully it will be a good cast although I doubt that very much.

Captain.Remy 23-07-2020 02:40 PM

I have good hopes for this season, even though All-Stars seasons can be disappointing. Sometimes bigger names together don't make a good show but lesser big names can. So it really all depends on the cast...and how Grodner decides to behave this year.

Grodner will favor her favorites like always, no question about that.

Unfortunately he didn’t get a call or he didn’t want to do it, he exposed BB for rigging stuff (which isn’t exactly new information)

Oh I didn’t know you liked Zach Rance! Macie doesn’t like zach rance So I assumed you’d have the same views, as you two normally agree on everything nowadays

Derrick was going to win regardless of ‘rig’ or not, he played a perfect game

NOOOOOOOOO DJSKSDKX :joker:

Braden 23-07-2020 03:07 PM

I’m gonna play the fool and say I’m excited for this season. The pre-show hype regarding all-stars for any show is fun to be part of. However, like most BBUS seasons I’ll probably watch the premiere and then watch a few live feed clips on YouTube, lmao.

Macie Lightfoot 23-07-2020 03:07 PM

Zach “exposing” the show for rigging was just him being like “they, um, ask you questions in the Diary Room, so it was as groundbreaking as Trisha Paytas revealing producers gave Sarah Harding her meds.

But he *has* been blacklisted for a while now due to him soliciting underage girls on YouNow and throwing a temper tantrum over TAR casting.

caprimint 23-07-2020 03:08 PM

Anyway Zach being the "KING" is what we LOVE to see!

He did lol, I loved Zach but he burned a lot of bridges with CBS over The Amazing Race

He’d have definitely returned by now if not, probs for BB18

caprimint 23-07-2020 03:10 PM

LukeB is just being hopeful Jack!!!!

As always lol

It was a combo of the TAR meltdown and doing **** like this to get money from underage girls on YouNow back in like 2016-2017.

Matthew. 23-07-2020 03:17 PM

I’m surprised it’s still going ahead as I didn’t think there would be a BB season this summer due to the current situation with coronavirus. I would have preferred a season full of newbies tbh but I will still watch the All Stars season for as long as it’s on air

Jack_ 23-07-2020 03:25 PM

Also I’m still reeling that Diane is the latest rumour, it’s so absurd that it surely can’t be true :skull:

And I love me some old schoolers but couldn’t we have someone a bit more interesting? Monica? Original Nicole? Alison?
