The lack of upcoming video games

I’m literally only excited for crash 4 and cyberpunk :( (And maybe kingdoms of amalur) but like yeah how awful for me

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 27-07-2020 11:43 PM

And i’m not even excited-excited for crash like it’s something i’d buy when it’s on sale

We're at end-of-gen, it's inevitable unfortunately.

Swan 28-07-2020 12:12 AM

I really hope Cyberpunk will have been worth the wait.

LaLaLand 28-07-2020 12:37 AM

I'm just waiting on Tony Hawk 1&2, that's about it for "this gen". After that it's just GTA 5.1 I'm interested in or whatever they're doing.

Barry. 28-07-2020 01:19 AM

I'm excited for Little hope the horror game.

Brother Leon 28-07-2020 01:38 AM

We just had TLOU2 and Ghost of Tsushima, with Cyberpunk before the end of year. It’s not too bad for an end of gen year.

Mystic Mock 28-07-2020 08:31 AM

Tbh I tend to find that most Video Games offer something decent to the table (even the poor ones) I am looking forward to getting Crash 4, Cyberpunk, Ghost Of Tsushima, and that Indie Shooter Game called Project Warlock for myself though.

Isn't there usually a "crossover period" where it's like 60/40?

Tom4784 28-07-2020 02:37 PM

There's likely to be a drought coming up past the next gen launches given that the games that would likely be released in that time frame will have had their developments disrupted by various lockdowns around the world. It'll likely be an excellent time to catch up on games you've missed or got on the backburner.

I agree with that, it's a good time to get through any current-gen games that peaked our interests but were never gotten around to, before getting into next gen stuff. I find that once you get used to the "upgrades" that come with a generation shift, older games start to seem a bit clunky and hard to get into. Best to play them while they're still "modern".

I'm going to get ghost of tooshie just to make Scott feel even more alienated (plus it looks fantastic, and I fancy the main character)

How long is ghost of Tsunami? Or w/e it’s called?

I want a decent length game, none of this 20 hours nonsense

Rain on me Tsunami seems pretty decent so far in terms of content if you’re after a meaty game but it depends on if you’d be happy to do lots of side quests. The main story if you just blitzed through it wouldn’t take that long since it’s so focused on the open world (a Skyrim tea)

I’m in Act 2 with 20+ hours already and doubt I’m even half way based on what I’ve collected and the map still has so much more to explore. So if you enjoy discovering new places and doing all the quests for people it’s a BIG game. It doesn’t feel as tedious as Ubisoft open world games either and the world is so gorg it makes you want to explore

Oh cool, I love that kind of game, how long are the main story quests? I found that with a lot of the AC series you get a 5 minute cut scene a 5 minute quests and then about her damn cut scene
