Can I suggest something..

Can we have a list of threads that are allowed and ones that ain't.

Favourite crisps or biscuits seem to be but other random pointless stuff isn't.

Or does it only matter who posts them?

Serious question.

I think the current system works very well

What is the current system?

It seems to change day by day.

A thread on your favourite biscuit is constructive and a great topic, it enables debate and discussion, a thread discussing your latest drunken antics after a number of already deleted threads, doesn’t add to any conversation, that would fit perfectly in the already formed chat threads.

I’ve read threads numerous times today alone where the rules have been clearly pointed out to you by Josy, do you need them in Braille?

The actual rule that was broken would be nice to see...

Can I suggest this is the greatest guitar solo of all time?

Obviously I’m not an admin and wouldn’t like to backseat moderate at all, so couldn’t tell you the exact reason for the removed threads but I’d hazard a guess a cocktail of these four.

Spoiler:

Spam will not be tolerated. This includes posting posts made entirely of smileys and posting GIFs 24/7. The odd post like this is fine, but when it becomes frequent, or you appear to add not much else to the forum, a warning/infraction may be given. The one exception to this, is in the LF discussion thread, where screenpcaps of what is happening are often posted. Creating multiple thread on the same subject also qualifies as spam. We do not expect you to read every post, however, it is easy to scan through the first page and see if there is already a thread on the subject you are discussing...before you post your thread.

Do not dispute infractions or warnings on the main forum. This causes unnecessary drama. There is a private forum here that you can use to speak directly to staff, your posts here will not show to anyone else. Only use this forum to dispute infractions/bans which you feel are unfair, no other reason. Do not use it if you did break a rule. Just accept the infraction and move on if this is the case.

Insulting mods is never a good thing and will only lead to you getting further punished, so think about that before insulting us on how we do our job.

If a thread gets locked, and arguments removed, then the thread is reopened, do NOT continue on the argument. It causes unnecessary work for us, and is frustrating for the other members. You may receive an infraction for doing so.

No one said you had broken a rule as far as I'm aware?

I removed a few comments of yours earlier this morning that were complete gibberish.

You made a pointless thread in General chat and it was closed because you do have quite a habit of doing it in that section, feel free to do that in c&g (within reason of course)

Josy, I ain't having a go at you, and never would.

Did I have a lot of threads deleted last night? I was a bit drunk.. I shall tell you why.

I was fixing a lovely old couples tv yesterday, Jewish.. not that it matters..but the old lady wanted to give me a gift..

So she gave me 2 bottles if harrods red wine and told me I'm a lovely man..I told her she had nearly brought me to tears.

Anyway..got home and drunk them both? So cant remember much.

caprimint 22-08-2020 03:19 PM
