What does your postcode say you are?

Stick your postcode in here:

https://checkmypostcode.uk/

What does it say about you in the "Output Area Classification for the area" box?

My current address says "Suburbanites - Suburban Achievers - Comfortable Suburbia" ... but my previous one...

"Hard-Pressed Living - Challenged Terraced Workers - Hard-Pressed Rented Terraces"
-

:joker: Excuse me! So offensive :hmph:. And it was a semi-detached I'll have you know. Though there were terraced further down the street. Hard-pressed indeed!

Let's find out who is rich and who belongs in the TiBB slums.

Oh ffs I just checked my postcode from when we lived down in Lancashire. "Deprived blue-collar terraces". Deprived! So I've gone from Deprived to Hard-pressed to Comfortable, apparently. I wonder what's next :flutter:.

I have no UK postcode but the place I live now is a really good area, the place I grew up wasn't a great area though

user104658 27-08-2020 10:18 AM

It also tells you how high above sea level you are so put that too so that we know who will survive the upcoming climate catastrophe :hee:

I'm 35m above so I reckon we're fairly safe :worry:

Mine says Multicultural Metropolitans - Rented Family Living - Social Renting Young Families which is a bit odd as most homes are owned around here.

55m above sea level which is pretty amusing given that my village used to be a port and everything between it and the current coast used to be under water

It's weird how it's listed as a village, I think of it as "a biggish neighbourhood separated from the main town by a stretch of road and some fields" The town centre is walkable, if one feels so inclined.

Since getting this house I have to be on the other side of the barrel on Boxing Day to where I was as a kid...which will make no sense to anyone not from near here
