What is your most prized heirloom?

What item (if any) that has been past down to you do you treasure the most?

Mine is my Grandads Rolex I got when he died and he brought it back in the early 80s

...I asked mum for my dad’s ties and tie scarves etc when he died, he was a neckwear fashion guy...I wear them at times when I need to feel him more...

I have one of those special edition £2 coins that my Nan gave me before she passed away. I don’t think it would pass as something that was passed down to me but it has a lot of sentimental value.

I had my mums engagement ring and wedding ring after she died. My sister in law stole them. The bitch. Long story. Xx

My grandparents "sold" me their old house if that counts :joker:

But otherwise a posh pen my (other) grandfather was given when he retired, and the same grandmother''s bird watching binoculars <3

I have a Stitch teddy and pillow that I was given when I was like 3 years old by my mam and dad that I’ll never ever get rid of if that counts.

My mum keeps everything like that.

I have my dogs collar though, I couldn't let it go when she passed away, I used to put it on the bottom of my bed for about 6 months after she died because that was where she slept

My most treasured item is a silk paisley scarf that my dad bought with his first wage.
I can remember him wearing it all my life.
I also have his signet ring, that I will pass on to my son.

I don't have anything passed down. I know my mum had a load of stuff belonging to my grandad (her dad, he died before I was born) from WW2 - medals and other WW2 items (a uniform, a deactivated pistol, some sort of cane... Thing... ) that went to her when my grandparents died, but when we cleared out her house after she died they didn't turn up so I have to assume she sold them at some point. She also had loads of heirloom jewelry at one point but it was all stolen in a break-in when I was a baby.

Of course it's lying, it's trying to say it's a sock :hehe:

Oh that sucks...

I have my mums wedding ring but only because it wouldn’t fit my older sisters finger so I always think of it as hers
