Have you ever nearly been abducted?
 

I have twice. Once as a teenager when a man parked up at my bus stop and offered me a lift. I refused but he didn't drive off just stayed there staring at me. I was trying to get the licence plate to report him but he then drove off.

Second time was when I rang up about a job interview. The guy on the phone said I had to come to a carpark and would be collected and taken to the interview in a car. I thought **** this and reported it to the police. They said it had already been reported a few times by other women and they were checking it out.

I was in Auckland and met a guy in his car, he drove me around a while and then asked if i wanted to go back to his place to watch a kiwi tv show that he said was hilar.
I was a bit young at the time and said okay but i told him do need to go back to the hostel afterwards and would he be okay to drive me.
Any way long story short he wouldnt take me back to the city centre and tried holding me hostage. I ran off and got a cab.

2 fellas gave me a lift home from a nightclub.
I vaguely knew them but they didn’t know me.
Decided to have a little detour for some hanky lanky.
I explained they would have to murder me and try and get away with it. I knew where they both worked and told them I would be informing their boss on Monday.
Dropped me off at home in a flash.

I can't be sure but I got followed once dropping off money for my step dad.

Called the police and they were concerned but never followed up so...

No but a white van was following me today so I hid behind a tree for 20 minutes until it went.

Not really abducted. I went on a football trip to smithy's Guernsey at around 11 or 12, and on the crossing on the way back there was this really weird bloke who kept watching me and followed me everywhere. I was suffering a bit with sea sickness so I just flopped on the sofas and got separated from the rest of the team in the food places and arcade games.

I'd noticed this dude and I couldn't quite work out what he was doing, but I just felt weird about him. i had to go and throw up, so I made a bit of a beeline for the toilets. As I was throwing my guts up, this hand came under from the next stall across. I felt like ****, so I pretended I didn't really notice, but then he got a bit bolder reaching out till he eventually touched my leg, and at that point I was done with his ****, and I stamped on his forearm as he put it back under again, and then legged it out.

Fortunately my footie manager was searching for me to see if I was ok, and he was just outside the toilets as I came out, and I told him everything about how he'd watched me then followed me and touched me. My manager was about 6'4 and built.

The weirdo came out of the bathroom, and my manager just slammed him straight back up against the wall. I don't know what he said to him but this dude went whiter than my sea-sickened face, and I didn't see him again for the rest of the trip back.

Not really. Think the closest scary story I've had is when I was with my ex. Was getting money out and he saw my ex smoking and was like "can I buy one" but my ex just gave him a cigarette and was like no bother and he was like do you need a lift anywhere. But I'd already ordered an Uber and the guy was adamant I cancel it and go with him bc he wouldn't charge. Was weird. I was just like honestly its fine and rhen he drove off once my Uber turned up.
