Clothing shops you love/clothing shops you hate...

....I know that we’ve had this thread before....but...

...clothing shops/..internet only or not....that you love to browse and buy..?...and the ones that you really dislike for whatever reasons and hardly ever browse...?...

Tommy Hilfiger is my favourite but a bit pricey. I like Next and New Look

...I love Tommy Hilfiger jeans, they’re such a great fit for me.../...I only buy in sales though when it’s around 70% off...we have a small designer/boutique type shop in town which has great sale reductions...

When we were in Dallas a couple of years back, there was this big Tommy Hilfiger shop with 70% off everything we ended up buying a suitcase and filling it [emoji28]

......I probably would have as well...I love those huge American outlet type places ...maybe a bit too much choice though and obviously it’s equating European sizes to American ones...

Ted Baker, Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, Le Coq Sportif (I can only get their stuff online now tho), Topman, ASOS, H&M, Foot Asylum are some of my favourites.

I dislike Burtons, Primark, Next and Armani Exchange

Saltrock, Passenger, Jam Industries, Stoked&Woke, Barbour, Patagonia, Vans. Love a trip to Mountain Warehouse too.

Can’t stand Primark. It’s always so chaotic and messy. It stresses me out. I had to wait outside last time I went with a friend as it got too much.

Yeah I get what you mean about Primark which is a shame as they have nice things at good prices but it is not a great shopping experience.

…Michelle starting in on Primark but it was actually H & M…that was so awful for the Queen who obviously had to think of budget and especially during COVID times, the Queens would have struggled for any work and income…

…clothing shops that I don’t like so much are those which have many brands like department stores where each brand has a different section…so if you’re looking for a blazer, for instance…?…they’re not all in one place, you have to go to every section to check out theirs…

…the only shop that I really like and go to a lot is a small boutique type one …but that’s changed ownership a few years ago and isn’t what it used to be…

Ammi 25-05-2025 08:19 AM

…I really dislike Superdry but that isn’t there anymore, I don’t think…and I really dislike Hollister, the lighting there is rubbish…and I really dislike Zara now…

I like Primark. Don't like m&s clothes.

Kazanne 25-05-2025 09:22 AM

My faves are Joe Browns,Rock Salt, Asos ,River Island,I dont mind Primark but as others have said its pretty chaotic, people just drop clothes on the floor off the hangers and dont bother picking them up (one of my pet hates) also like Blue Diamond clothes.

It's called Penneys over here but yeah, I'm the same I get so claustrophobic and panicky in there

Love primark, Tesco and online USA stores that do the horror clothes I buy. Dislike; super dry, the logo puts me off buying there
