Happy Birthday Sticks...

....I know that you don’t post that much, Sticks...but you’ve been on the forum for 18yrs...so Happy Birthday to one of our great survivors, you might even be THE longest surviving member on the frontline ...

...a very Happy Birthday, sir.....you really are a true legend of TiBB and I wish you the brightest and most uplifting of days...

...so this is the closest from 2002 to 2020 I could get...

The ‘Black Gate’ drawbridge post built in 1250, and Henry II’s 842-year-old castle (built on the site of the fortress that gave Newcastle its name) are listed buildings, so they haven’t changed much between Victorian times and now. The most significant change is the building that’s popped up between them in the photo – and this one’s now listed, too. Built in the classical style as the Northumberland County Hall in 1910 and expanded upwards and outwards in 1933, it is now a hotel. The bridge has become a railway viaduct for the East Coast mainline to Scotland.

Yes Sticks have a Great Day.

Sticks 30-09-2020 05:35 AM

Thanks for this

I am currently visiting Cromer, but due back on Friday

I had not realised I had been here that long.

So many of my old friends have dropped out or passed away, like ROB

...that’s strange because we both have a connection with the North East and it being my home ground, which you know...and Cromer is kind of over the road from me as well, in the neighbouring county and there you are...that coastline in general is gorgeous, some great places to visit...I hope that you enjoy the rest of your visit, Sticks...
