Things that you connect to other TiBB members/that make you think about them...

...well, kind of think about them...Glenn posted a ‘reminiscing’ thing in the chat thread...and one of the things that I always particularly connect to Glenn is his amazing Christmas tree decorations and the lovely magic of Christmas for him and his family...also in keeping with the Glenn topic and I guess, inspiring this thread...is the SD topic of Disney laying off workers atm...and the many Disney family holidays that Glenn would always have and we all shared the lead up to, the excitement etc and then the lovely photos of the actual visit......and that also connected in my thoughts to nicole burk, who worked for Disney at that time and also who Glenn had a meet-up with...so anyway, TiBB member connections that you may have...?...

I remember after Kerry died and her husband posted a message on here and he mentioned something about Kerry loving the song Brim full of Asha so every time I hear that now it makes me think of Kerry

...what makes me think of Kerry, actually...is how she would watch something like Loose Women or whatever../...some daytime TV...and she’d pick out a point of thought and interest that would make a really great and interesting thread with so much added by so many...not an ugggghhhh, Loose Women, what nightmares they are../...type thread...it was because of how she made the thread and how she motivated the conversation...really lovely.....

...obviously the 4am thread as well.....

I definitely attach audrey hepburn to you Ammi. In fact a lot of the time I imagine its Audreys words im reading! Haha

Toy Soldier 30-09-2020 10:17 AM

You can't watch Pulp Fiction without forgetting that Livia isn't actually in it.

Conor McGregor also always makes me think of Niamh, which I'm sure she won't be so pleased about these days :umm2:.

Any weird weather in Scotland (like the recent purple electrical storms :omgno: ) makes me think "I wonder what LT is blethering about this on his weather thread" and I actually check there to see what's going on :joker:.

Ammi Hepburn also, obviously.

And I have to admit I kept thinking "Sign of the times in 1080p" whenever I was playing as Hulk in The Avengers game :hehe:. And I think about him trying to peek up hooker's skirts in GTA5 every time I see one in that.

I think about Vicky every time I see a story that involves Mumsnet

I strongly associate "The 100" with Lostie! but, interestingly, not "Lost"

what else, what else...

Toy Soldier 30-09-2020 10:24 AM

People pretending they don't think about me and get anxiety every time they see a toy soldier :flutter:

Nicky91 30-09-2020 10:29 AM

i had a collection of toy soldiers in my childhood

also like a toy army helicopter, jeep

I don't actually have any real control over my brain unfortunately.

Niamh. 30-09-2020 10:35 AM

celebrities dying always used to make me think of the death thread (which I still think is a bit gross but still  )

Kerry was one of the nicest individuals anyone could have ever come across Nicky.
She was a wonderful mod too.

Tragic loss, way too soon.
