and i hope the production team has done their proper research on Cleopatra as she was such a complicated person

if Gal can pull this character off, i will put my hat off, since it is really a complete different direction than wonder woman, also with such a well known historical figure every detail needs to be perfect

Wasn't Cleopatra Macedonian Greek in ethnicity though(even though she was born and raised in Egypt)? I read that before (but I'm not 100% sure how true that is)

Although ancient Egyptians were black africans and they'll most likely be played by middle eastern looking people.

by that logic Gal could play her (cuz she also spoke hebrew)

but would make more sense for this historical drama, to make it more realistic which is what you aim for in this genre, to look for some actress with a greek background as that is where her main heritage is from

so maybe a new talent for this part, and other roles, i'd suggest Ben Kingsley would be a good one in this too, given he already had some experience with historical figures
