Life is so cruel

Very Sad
he is young man
working hard.

Shocking there is still no way of treating this.

Glioblastoma is a killer, a friend recently passed away from this disease, she was operated on but there was a tiny percentage that could not be removed, and though she battled hard, and fundraisers got her to Germany for pioneering treatment she passed away last month two and a half years after her initial diagnose, she had been give a year to live

Poor guy I feel for him and his family

Such sad news

UserSince2005 12-10-2020 08:54 AM

doesn't sound that hes got much longer left. Life is cruel.

Denver 12-10-2020 08:57 AM

The typical life expectancy is 3 months to 18 months so I pray he gets to spend at least 1 proper Christmas as a family

tbh that one american actress Valerie Harper (whom also had a incurable form of brain cancer) also got told she had 3 months left by doctors, yet from that diagnosis onwards she had lived for 6 more years

yes i also agree with that last bit, 1 proper christmas as a family is what you can hope and pray for him

Saph 12-10-2020 11:13 AM

my friends dad was diagnosed with one in 2009 and is still alive today so theres hope

Tom4784 12-10-2020 02:10 PM

Inoperable doesn't always equal a swift death sentence, I hope he manages to get as much time as possible with his family.
