Great Film

I've seen it (as well as the 2003 remake). I found both movies solid, and they are in my list of favourite horror movies.

The OG is the best.

Still holds up great all these years later in terms of shock and gore - imagine what it was like for people on it's release back in the early 70's!? Crikey.

Easy to see why it was banned in so many places. :omgno:

I love the original but my favourite ever shot in any of the TCM movies is the scene when the hitchhiker gets in the van and freaks out and shoots herself in the head and the camera pulls back through the van, showing all the passengers shock and the camera goes through her empty, bloody skull just as her neck jolts back.

So well shot and executed in every way.

That was from the 2003 remake, and it was a fantastic scene.

I remember that crazy disturbed Scene, where the hell was she keeping the gun before she shot herself . Looked like it magically appeared

Haven't seen any of the originals but I have seen the 3 remakes and enjoyed them.

Crimson Dynamo 18-10-2020 03:11 PM

when i was a kid this and the exorcist were 2 films that were the scariest, not that i could see them or there was any way to see a clip etc but older relatives siblings would tell you how bad it was.
