Anyway, can't wait for it to come back on TV, I enjoyed the last season.

Any word if it's still the heavily modified format or have the producers changed anything?

Ive seen on twitter and i cant find the actual tweet , but the show will run for its supposed original run length of 70 days, covid caused the previous series to end early and be fastracked to the end.

By less than two weeks. The moved from a 3 day cycle to daily half way through the series. This new series is only double the planned filming schedule. No word on whether the actual broadcast show will change much.

It started today. Anybody bothered watching it?

_Seth 26-04-2021 04:07 PM

Didn't know there was to be another. Where can I watch it?

Marsh. 26-04-2021 05:11 PM

If it's all pre-recorded how do the studio audience know how to react to the evictions? Do they sit in there and watch every episode?

_Seth 26-04-2021 09:28 PM

I miss Gretel.

There isn't a studio audience. The eliminated housemates grab their suitcase, get in a Uber and get out of there basically.
During launch night there were some people cheering them outside, production staff I believe.

Is anyone watching this. The production on tasks is amazing but damn there are a ridiculous amount of ‘twists’. On ep 15 and rolled my eyes when they announced the latest twist, an absolute joke.

P.S My next post is my cursed post so look out for it x

After the letdown of the new format introduced last year I opted to not watch BBAU anymore, which is a shame because I was addicted to all the prior seasons. The lack of a live audience, daily shows and relentless focus on "Big Brother's Game" just killed my enthusiasm for the show. BB's new HAL9000 voice is just majorly creepy too.

Ridiculous season centrally focused on plugging 1 bullshiitting little man.

"Need to avoid being nommed at the first eviction? NO worries, you can pick a partner and hide away from it all. With the house quickly cottoning on to all your bravado bullshyte, the net seems to be closing in in you and your producer backed game, eh? NO worries Danny boy..we have a fake ass Covid test coming up to ridiculously take you out of the game until the danger passes. So just stumble out of bed and wobble across the room and pretend to be all dizzy..and we'll take care of the rest. Need to butter up some of the fools on return? NO worries, we'll gift you a limo to have a party in with half the bastard house. Need to have a special phone call with your mate? NO worries, simply muck up another challenge and we'll gift you that. Need an advantage in the latest challenge? NO worries, hit that giant red button that dishes out "random" good or bad rewards and you'll see how we've zoomed you right through to the final phase."

"Concerned about being put up on the block again? NO worries, we'll conveniently divide the teams into big groups for you so that we can deflect any nom vote that's potentially heading your way. Sick of lumping a heavy sack around during "hell week"? NO worries, we'll gift you a light ass bag for a "secret task" and once you inevitably win it, as a reward you can stuff your craggy face with steak and chips..and as added bonus you'll be allowed to invite someone else to join in with you to gain more desperate loyalty points. Need to buy some more of these gutless sheep clowns off with lollies, chocolate etc? NO worries, here's a giant crate full of the stuff absurdly labeled "survival kit". Oh and there also happens to be a silly bastard key in there that guarantees you make the top 10. Which we'll make sure you don't have to use on yourself and therefore can "dramatically" choose to save one of the morons who will now feel obligated to you". PATHETIC. "I'm lucky enough that the chips have actually fallen my way" said Desperate Dan, as if this was just some "random chance" game he was the beneficiary of.. as opposed to his production pals sickeningly feeding&fueling him with rig after desperate rig. EMBARRASSING.

It just became comical the shyte they were cooking up to further Desperate Dan's game. Gifting him powers to remove nominees, halting evictions and flipping negative votes to positive..stopping an EVICTEE loser from getting the boot to not only remain in the game, but actually be gifted the "head of house" power.. and of course the opportunity to have "someone" join her..which we all knew before the choice was made would be the highly privileged desperate one. And we'd come to find out this latest makeitupaswegoalong "twist" also came with the absurd award of SAFETY through another COUPLE more evictions. Just some more "lucky chips" falling his way, eh?? PATHETIC.

He was then seen going through a pathetic martyr routine that was nauseating beyond belief as he pretended he was ready to sacrifice his own rigged game in favour of precious little Tilly. RIDICULOUS. And bull****ting little Tilly followed suit at the ceremony as she pretending she "wanted him to be there" as she blubbed some self pitying croc tears. And then they both started trying to outdo each other with pathetic fake crying. EMBARRASSING. And surprise, surprise, despite doing his utmost to "pull ALL the votes onto himself" he only managed to get 2 votes, which he knew fine well is all he was certain to cop given the freak sheep he had backing him that would never vote him out. The 1 time he's eligible to be stuck on the block and voted out in about 50 weeks..there happens to be another HG who is yet again classed as bigger fry(exactly the same as when up against that farm girl) Just those chips yet again amazingly falling in favour of Desperate Dan, eh??? PATHETIC. But of course precious little pet Tilly couldn't possibly be let go either without getting another silly chance to remain, so they stopped her in her entitled tracks and packed her into a little room awaiting another one of those pathetically desperate comebacks. Which tells us that even had his sheep alliance voted him out, it would've meant diddly since that silly backup room was ready and waiting to save him again. And you can be sure, had it been Desperate Dan in that room it wouldn't have been left to "chance" - as they would've told him which box not to go near. The fool was fuming that he didn't make the finale but without obscene help from production he wouldn't have made it much further than Nick.

This season actually held the potential of being a decent season..as for once they actually had themselves multi strong female players  ..but this only proves that even on these occasions when the show is blessed with the incredibly RARE luxury of capable, alpha-female types, production seems hell-bent on doing the dirty on them in favour of whatever pet-freak male/s they have on side. The way the show stitched both Katie and then Jess up for their prized maggot to delight over was completely RIDICULOUS.

And it all counted for zilch in the end as their pet clown couldn't even make it to the podium.

Agree sadly, loved Danny but the riggery was SO blatant! Awful winner too. Christina deserved it but had no chance against Marley and his ‘story’.
