Terrible.
I didn't even have to think about it.

I've lost too many people already to think this government has done anything else but terrible.

Their day of reckoning will come on it however, those who've lost loved ones and who know they shouldn't have, will get their day.
No matter how much this PM refuses to see, meet and talk to them.
As he's done repeatedly for the pandemic now.

No wonder he never even acknowledges the deaths even now on his manipulated 28 day rule figures.
Nor offers condolences.

A good number of people, myself included, however don't want his false, deceitful lip service condolences, even if he now tried to offer any.

He's a full political liar, not fit for any office.

Baaaaad.

Having a terrible death rate and terrible economic consequences shows bad governance. Like, if they prioritized the economy at the expense of lives, people would think "tories gonna tory" but at least we'd have the economy; but if they threw that to the wind and did everything they could to save as many lives as possible, they could probably sway a lot of people.

But the next election is years away, so why would they bother saving people at this point...

UK overall bad, Scotland OK-ish but only just.

I don't know if I could really vote "terrible" as that's the lowest option, and they could be doing literally nothing, or offering zero financial support of any kind, so you can't really say it's the "worst possible". But it is a shambles.

Bad, the only redeeming factor is that they’re not ignoring that it’s happening like that big orange yank across the pond, but like, it’s sad that that’s the only positive

i'm not impressed with the government handling, but they are pretty comparable with the majority of europe in their approach so there we have it. Any compromise approach is going to fail to be successful by either an economic metric or a saving lives metric which means that no-one is going to be happy and was never going to be. Given that, how could the outcome be anything other than the government has done a less than stellar job

Daniel-X put it simple to me the other day. They had the opportunity to save lives or the economy and chose to do neither.

UserSince2005 22-10-2020 08:19 PM

The best job hehe

Yh I agree with this.

A woeful job, not that it matters though, Tory voters could lose loved ones to Covid and end up on the street but they'll find a way to blame labour over the government they voted for.

The tories wasted too much time doing nothing and what they are doing now is ineffective.

I see even the excellents and goods from the previous rounds have moved down to OK.

Kizzy 22-10-2020 08:57 PM

Waiting for the 'imagine if Corbyn was in charge' comments we had in previous polls. He'd have to go a looooong way to spaff up as royally as Boris.
I'm not sure he'd have managed it.

Its 50/50 for me, they could of and should of acted sooner but the financial help is a big positive but they shouldn't be doing things like begging people to pack into restaurants for 50% off and they shouldn't be taking money from students who can't go to lecture or see their tutor, I also think reopening air travel was a big no no as they don't have a way of tracking people who had it and making sure they quarantine

Corbyn always cared. No way he's dishing out contracts to his mates, sending covid patients into care homes for older people, and no love affair with herd immunity. That's just for starters.

Cherie 22-10-2020 09:32 PM

Wales is closed
NI is closed
Scotland will be closed soon

So put your hand on your heart and say what government has done a good job, they are all o.k

Some came out of lockdown later as well to no avail

If people are not complying the virus is spreading ...end of
