Any reasons why?

Well Barcelona is my favourite city of all time for a start, love the architecture there and the fact that even though it's a city it has beaches. I've spent a lot of time in Catalonia in general over the years. Also I like that it's much greener in Northern Spain than it is in the South too

I don't know. I've only ever been to Spain once. To Callela. Don't know what region that's in. Xx

I like Barcelona as a City, nicer than Madrid, but we have a property in Andalucia, its a beautiful part of the world with the Sierra Nevada in the distance, and Alahambra Palace

Catalonia

Catalonia does have a good mix of everything. My friend that live there even go up to the mountain to ski at the weekend.

But in all seriousness, I've never been there but based on what I've seen online I'd like to visit La Rioja for the vineyards.
