Fred van Leer was taken to hospital on Sunday afternoon, where he is currently staying.

This confirms the management of the presenter and stylist to De Stentor

According to management, the 44-year-old has been admitted to hospital "for observation".

"He is in good hands there," said a spokesman.

Further details are not given.

It is not known whether the recording of Van Leer has to do with the leaked sex video of last Thursday.

On Friday, the stylist told his Instagram that he thinks it is terrible what happened. "I need time to process it, so I will be offline for some time to come. I am surrounded by lovely people who take good care of me."
