Predict the US Presidential Election Result - Electoral College vote
Let's have a prediction game.
Predict the US Presidential Election Result between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. The election works on the electoral college system - each US state is allocated a number of electors depending on its population, and winner of the vote in that state wins all those electors. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...2-2020.svg.png There are 538 electors in total and for reference the previous result (on election night) was Donald Trump 306 Hillary Clinton 232 In 2012 the result was Barack Obama 332 Mitt Romney 206 So what will be the result in 2020? Donald Trump - ? Joe Biden - ? Let's see who gets closest. |
Both my head and heart are saying Biden, but I have this looming dread that Trump's going to sneak back in somehow.
I just hope that all of the minorities are really using their vote for Biden really. I think it will be quite close, no big landslide, with Biden just edging it. So let's say (totally uneducated answer I must admit): Trump - 253 Biden - 285 I'm undoubtedly way off what the actual result will be, but I think it'll be very close. That close? Probably not but who knows! :joker: |
I'd say similar numbers to Barack tbh 300+ for Biden
|
I think it’ll be a Trump win, not sure of numbers though
|
Ohio and Texas are probably the only swing states I see going Trump’s way. Maybe Florida or another one shock.
Biden with 300+ imo. |
Its going to depend on how strong the anti trump vote withing the republican supporters is
|
i think Trump is going to get smashed so that he has no option but to accept the result
Biden 332 + Trump 206 - (i heard a gop strategist yesterday saying that it was going to be a landslide for trump ) |
Biden secures the first Election Day victory while Trump takes the second as two tiny New Hampshire towns with a combined population of just 26 announce their results at midnight
Only 269 to go joe  |
tbh there is a record amount of voters now
and i don't think we will know who won for quite some time, i mean a lot of votes to be counted of 100 million people who voted |
320 Biden
216 Trump |
Biden 313
Trump 225 |

Biden 320

Trump - 294
Biden - 244 |
Trump 279
Biden 259 |
Donald Trump 275
joe Biden 283 |
Used https://www.270towin.com/ and came up with Biden 324-214 Trump.
The default it predicts is a Biden landslide though. |
Not gonna guess numbers but I think Trump will just squeak an EC win while losing the popular vote.
|
I think it's going to be close.
Trump takes Florida, North Carolina and Arizona. Biden wins Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. That gives me: Biden - 278 Trump - 260 |
Using 270ToWin I got
Biden - 270 Trump - 268 :omgno: I mean that was me being a bit on the pessimistic side, and Pennsylvania could very easily go blue - but imagine the scenes if that result was the case |
Biden 280
Trump 258 |
Well no way is Biden getting 300 or more now. I think Trump is actually gonna win this!
