Noisy as ****. Look pretty for all of 3 seconds and make every household pet go wild.

****ing cancel them.

I feel sorry for the animals that are kept outside. Must be very frightening for them ):

bout time this tradition was abolished for good.

I saw some youths on TikTok making Hybrid ones !!

Cutting two huge ones up , pouring the powder into one of them and taping it up !!

I was honestly thinking this. Theyve been going on outside mine for at least a week.

I wouldn't mind them if they were quieter.

Last night there was one firework that had around 40 continuous explosions... I looked online and they are available for £74.99 !!


We used to pay about a fiver for a box of them for the family !

About 10 years ago I bought TEN mini rockets for £2 !!

Trouble was there was no delay after lighting them !!

The moment I lit them they shot off screeching !!

I only tried 2 of them as I was a nervous wreck ( I dunked the others in a bucket of water )

They are the most annoying things.
My Staffie hates them, I dare not leave him for a second or he panics once they're going off.

He has to be right close to me or stretched over my knees.

Awful things.

I can understand why kids - ie. ones under the age of 10 - would find them 'magical' or whatever but you can distract those with bloody Peppa Pig and your Disney+ subscription instead

Keep them to official displays, which are allowed to occur beteen 5 and 6pm and then that's it.

It has literally sounded like rapid gun fire for hours tonight here. Swear you could actually shoot someone tonight and no-one would bat an eyelid

Limit them to
a) Bonfire Night and New Year
b) professional venues

Can't stand them

With those huge rockets they explode 30 metres /yards up in the sky but with these new batteries they look as though they’re exploding on the ground to get the height !??

If so they will sound more louder , surely ?

Agreed.

In my household we really have to calm our Cat down when the Fireworks go off as her natural instincts are to start running around all panicked which is horrible to see her that way.
