#EurovisionAgain was born in March, right after the cancellation of the Eurovision Song Contest 2020. Since then, 20 Contests from the past have been broadcast on YouTube. Now, it’s time to close the year out with a bang in 'The Eurovision Again Semi-Final Special'! Keep reading on to find out what you can expect from the show.

On Saturday 19 December at 21:00 Central European Time we’ll be streaming a Eurovision Again Semi-Final Special on our official YouTube channel. We asked you to select your favourite song from every country that failed to qualify for the Grand Final more than once since the Eurovision Semi-Finals were introduced in 2004. We also asked 12 sites and podcasts from the Eurovision fan community to select their 10 favourite non-qualifiers too.

Several thousands of votes came in every day and the 26 competing songs to feature in the show have been decided by you! The fan-picked favourites will be broadcast in a specially curated running order.

Our friends at #EurovisionAgain will be running a poll on Twitter, allowing you to shower all your past favourites with the love, attention and points they deserve. You'll get a reminder to vote during the show, and to make it easy for you, eurovision.tv/eurovisionagain will take you directly to the voting page when the voting starts.

We ask that you fill out all your points. You should give 12 points to your favourite, 10 points to your second favourite, 8 points to your third and so on until you get all the way down to 1 point that goes to your 10th favourite in line.

While you anxiously wait for your votes to be counted, you can watch our interval act segments that feature everything from major musical highlights to some of the best dance performances from the past 16 years of Eurovision Semi-Finals.

#EurovisionAgain became one of the bigger archive projects for the Eurovision Song Contest in recent years. As people from across the continent refrained from gatherings due to the coronavirus, Eurovision fans found themselves connecting online instead. With the initiative of Eurovision Song Contest fan Rob Holley, a couple of thousand devotees digitally connected to rewatch Eurovision 2013 together in late March. The first edition was a success, so the European Broadcasting Union decided to support the initiative by uploading older Contests to the official YouTube channel and arranging broadcast rights for shows made prior to 2004. Broadcasters, former Eurovision artists and production crew all happily joined in for the initiative.
