smudgie 14-11-2020 11:32 AM

Who needs the news when we have TIBB

I do watch the news a couple of times through the day.

Cherie 14-11-2020 11:46 AM

Never sit through the whole thing

user104658 14-11-2020 12:01 PM

I've been watching a fair bit of CNN since election night just because it's fascinating to see the world through a "US window" for a bit.

Withano 14-11-2020 12:01 PM

Do people still watch the news? What an awful waste of time. You can get all the up-to-date information at your fingertips.

Jack_ 14-11-2020 12:20 PM

God no, my dad has the BBC News channel on all day in his house and I find it awful

I watch Newsnight pretty religiously though. I like my news with some analysis :hee:

i've watched a fair bit of CNN too recently. Their bias is so over the top it becomes fascinating to watch.

I don't watch regular news bulletins, there is just no point

Josy 14-11-2020 02:08 PM

I dont really watch the mainstream news unless theres some kind of big breaking story.

Plenty of non bias places online to keep up with goings on :hee:

MSNBC are worse. CNN at least attempt to have right wingers on now and again, MSNBC just dont bother. Its anti-Trump 24/7.

This is why I have to laugh when people say Trump will rise again. He's spent four years insulting the media. In 2015 he appeared on MSNBC on Morning joe and had a great interview. Now Trump calls the host of that show a murderer who should be investigated. He wont get the coverage he had in 2015 and CNN, MSNBC etc wont stop with the Anti- Trump rhetoric.

On topic, I watch news channels for a fair amount every night.

Sometimes I record the Local BBC Scottish News HD 6:30PM
to keep an eye on them.

Saturdays 2PM Live Smerconish CNN HD
is better than Live Twitter.

Of course I have live feeds from
10 sources.

Times Radio Live Online and DAB
is a new special one

Zizu 14-11-2020 03:01 PM

Sky News whenever ...

Wait til you find out that it’s faster, more convenient and offers a wider range of sources on the internet.

yeah calling every media outlet and social media outlet fake isn't going to encourage them to cover him once he is out of office. He may start his own ranting media outlet, but if its anything like his twitter outbursts I can't see it holding anyones attention. It certainly wont increase his reach which is what he would need to do to win another election
