I first had the privilege to see Maradona play when he made his debut for Argentina against Scotland at Hampden park when he was 17. I never saw a better player

Whether you liked him or not you can't deny he was the greatest player to ever live

he had earlier heart problems too i thought

umm Diego was in my country, my province few years ago, his team at a training camp near the town of Deurne, lots of our local radio reporters wanting to interview him, and he also that time was on the stands at a home match of PSV Eindhoven where he also got a PSV shirt with his name on it

Yes...I didnt like him...my husband adored him for his amazing talent that he will be remembered for.

The 'Hand of God' has reached out and taken him, ,very young to die,but he didn't look that healthy in the last picture I saw of him,sad for his family

He was the current manager of an Argentinean top division team, it must be hard for the club and everyone involved to deal with this

I've just noticed its on the 15 anniversary of George Bests death, that is crazy

An absolute legend. Hand of god aside, some of the goals he has scored were pure class. Probably, the greatest player of all time.
