Is Vernon gonna pay the price for his friendship with Shane?

I think he's easily led astray and Shane is doing him no favours by association.

Thoughts?

I like Vernon,he was the first one to comfort Ruthie when she was upset,I dont get the dislike for hm tbh, I don't see what Shane has done so wrong either,he's not my fave,but they are all in there to win and all have different personalities, If Shane gets too cocky ,the BP will soon pull him down,as for Vernon,he seems to get on with them all, My fave at the minute is Giovanna, she seems very genuine.

I did think that...however it was nice to see how Vernon looked after Ruthie last night. I dont think Vernon is a follower...he will enjoy banter with the blokes of course but he looks after the ladies too...like he did with Giovanna when she got a bit upset over the cooking the other night. If he continues to be like that he will be fine.

I don't think so, they haven't done anything that bad.
I like Vernon.
With Shane sometimes I like him, other times he annoys me.
But they're both good campmates.

I've changed my opinion on both men tbh. I thought I'd love Shane but I really don't like him at all. He's too up himself and cocksure. Vernon I thought I wouldn't like and yet I do. He's a gentleman. True colours usually come out. X

I really like Vernon...he is really laid back and pretty cool. He seems genuinely caring and seems to take everything in his stride....and of course he is Tall, dark and handsome :laugh:

Vernon is a bit of that type who wants to be friends with everyone i think

it actually just surprised me more how he seemed besties with Shane, when early days they looked like each others rivals, with the ''which celeb you saw'' thing and him saying he saw brad pitt, angelina jolie in a store that moment i mean

they didn't look like friends there :suspect:


so maybe if he can distance himself from Shane when he is at his bad side, he will also be fine some more

also is Vernon genuinely caring to Ruthie? or being like that in front of camera's ;)


i actually would've preferred it if Ruthie had someone like Victoria to comfort her, and i also would like they stick up for each other, 2 women in the same age group must stand up for each other in a competition like that but that is my opinion, together you stand much stronger


AJ's reaction was genuine (minding his own business and just doing that chore, rather than ''being fake'' for the camera's i am sure AJ is a caring person and i am sure he has said something nice off camera but something like this you should not do when camera's are on you)

Kate I still think Vernon is playing game tactics to seem like the "nice guy" , Vernon,Shane & Jordan irritate me especially when the 3 of them are together :bored: .

Victoria did comfort her....but it was Vernon who approached her first because he was aware of her not being her bubbly self....no one else even noticed....and AJ appeared at some point so was he being genuine?...or was he grabbing camera time too?
I don't think Vernon did it for the cameras...I think it was genuine care. He also checked on Giovanna the other night when the cooking got to her....nobody else thought of doing that.

Nahhh Rustic. The business with the cooking is getting on my nerves, notice how he always sticks his nose in .

Why can't he just let them get on with cooking, he's always interfering and breathing down their neck's .

I dont like either Shane or Vernon. Shane would be my least favourite. Ok he did well in the trial tonight with Jessica but he is cocky and very sure of himself and I reckon in his head he has it won by the people who voted him sexiest male voting in their hundreds for him as their winner. I really like Tess and when Vernon did the dirty on her I didnt like it because she is beautiful and why the hell would he want someone else I dont really see him as any kind of star and if he is it is by association with her as she IS a star. I will be gutted if he or Shane wins

The thing is he obviously loves cooking and everyone else seems a bit unsure of cooking the unusual feasts. No one wants to screw up because if they don't cook it right then it's ruined...they all want to eat. It must be hard, if you know the best way when others clearly don't, to not want to guide them to ensure a successful meal.

I agree about Shane but not Vernon ,as for Tess,yes she is beautiful,but that doesn't mean she is flawless ,none of us know what their situation was at that time,plus she has forgiven him,so its not up to us to judge on somethig we know nothing about really I think he's been ok so far.

I'm sure others enjoy cooking aswell , he wasn't as bad tonight. But I noticed he's always watching them and getting involved . I know people give advice on how to cook things don't get me wrong,but he comes across a bit domineering with it .
