He is super pompous, and thinks he is better than people who call in to disagree with his views, prefer Maajid Nawaz, polite to all his callers and can make his point to callers who disagree with him without being obnoxious

Gammon is an Item from the butchers counter. Black pudding is also an item from the butchers counter.

Frank Bruno used to get called the latter, it was seen as racist. You're just doing exactly the same. You're calling someone of a specific race an item from the butchers counter.
