My best friend is called Paula and I've known her 6 years and 3 months ish.

Will. Met when we were 7 years old, we bonded over Chelsea FC, Wrestling and Video Games. We still do, some 25/26 years later.

My friend Lauren we have known each other for 18 years met in primary school

Claire. Hated her on first sight when I was 15. She came into our group as the new girlfriend of one of the lads and I was being territorial. We ignored each other for ages (apart from dirty looks :laugh:). Then one day we met by chance and felt obliged to talk.....had the best laugh ever. She came to my house that night and had pretty much moved in by the following week (her home life was a bit chaotic so my folks kind if adopted her). Still absolute best friends nearly 30 years later. Never had a fall out and still trust her with my life

My best friend from school passed away 15 years ago. We didnt see each other much but always stayed in contact.
I have 3 Best friends...we all bonded at work 40 years ago...I love them dearly.

every ''friend'' i had at school abandoned me for either college, or moving out of the country (one moved to Sweden)

Hubby top of the list.
Then I have 3 friends that I have known for 40 ish years.
One lives in Scotland so we don’t see much of each other now.
The other two I see regularly....covid has stopped that for now.

My first best friend emigrated to Canada when I was like 8, he told me one day and the next day he was gone.

my next best friend Stephen was killed on a motorway when he was 23. Funnily enough, I searched fore his brother the other day and found out he has had 3 kids 2 girls and one boy who he called Stephen :(

I have 2 best pals near me now from school one who i was at his dads funeral and saw last year (he was buried near my dad about 20 feet away.)

My best pal now is Jem who i met in 1990 but i also have my 3 uni pals who i keep in touch with daily (we zoom now and then) and my 2 golf buds Andy and DUnc who I have also known since 1990
