Tom Cruise Gets Very Angry at UK crew : not being covid Safe

Yes Tom

Get order, these poxy UK workers
trying to infect everyone on your set.

Ammi 16-12-2020 04:50 AM

...filming was closed down in October because of many diagnosed cases in the crew and it is their health and livelihoods, so it’s easy to understand the passion of his ‘rant’...hopefully, mission accomplished for a safer set and working environment...

I can understand why he lost it.
There's a lot if pressure to keep the movie going and a lot of jobs depend on it.
Cast and crew all have families to support and their mortgages.
It's good that he cares enough to make sure the set is safe and everyone follows the rules.

joeysteele 16-12-2020 06:54 AM

Normally I'd say he could have controlled the outburst to make it less of fouler language and be more reasoned.

However, this is his and others livelihoods in an industry reeling from this virus.
It doesn't matter he's extremely rich, it's his and others careers and in this difficult year, trying to keep some things going is commendable and so I get his passion with anger on this.

I always try to be reasoned if I can be, however on this virus, I've thought much the way Cruise clearly has on what has angered him as to others complacency.

Some people, even in extended family have infuriated me really strongly on their thinking, denial and dismissal of the dangers of this hateful virus.

Had I been in their presence, I think, perhaps without the language going more foul, I'd have exploded too.

So I'd support Cruise's stance on this, in this incident certainly.

arista 16-12-2020 07:05 AM

Yes those 2
UK workers could shut down the Whole Production.

Marsh. 16-12-2020 07:09 AM

Given his connections to Scientology and what it has done to people, I find this highly ironic.

Cherie 16-12-2020 12:24 PM

Good man Tom, saying what alot of us are thinking at some point

600k?

Omg I hope he can afford to feed his family this Christmas, they shouldn't have to go without.

Withano 16-12-2020 02:44 PM

Awful, cruel, condescending, hypocritical man.

Proud to say I've never seen a single movie that he’s starred in.

Not even heard of it. But there’s simply no way I could look at that mans face and enjoy myself.

Isn't that a romcom? Not Alf being a romcom fan?

rusticgal 16-12-2020 03:14 PM

No one knows if this had happened before and the irresponsible workers have been puleed up for it before....I thought his rant went on a bit long but he certainly got the point across.
