When will you get the vaccine? Calculator

You can use this online tool to see when you may be invited for your vaccine. There are 26-38 million people in front of me so I will be waiting till between June and September before I get asked

My mother works in a care home, and is 60, it says the very latest she wil get the vaccine is 21/12/2020... she has yet to be contacted and that’s in 4 days?? I don’t think this is accurate

LeatherTrumpet 17-12-2020 12:46 PM

between 11/05/2021 and 02/06/2021.

Kizzy 17-12-2020 12:47 PM

My mums (88) doc has had one delivery of 200, but she wasn't on the list for that apparently. .. bit annoyed, but she's on it for the next lot whenever that will be.

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 17-12-2020 12:47 PM

you should expect to receive your vaccine between 13/03/2021 and 23/04/2021.

LukeB 17-12-2020 12:53 PM

25/06/2021 and 15/09/2021.

Jessica. 17-12-2020 12:55 PM

I'm not in the UK but

Given a vaccination rate of 1,000,000 a week and an uptake of 70.6%, you should expect to receive your vaccine between 28/01/2021 and 24/02/2021.

I wont hold my breath, she lives in South West London, and her GP practice has 30,000 patients, don't know what percentage is over 80 but even if its 5% it's still a massive number

Toy Soldier 17-12-2020 03:45 PM

I'd take this with a pinch of salt as I don't think they're going to be vaccinating 1,000,000 people a week lol.

Toy Soldier 17-12-2020 03:50 PM

By default calculator it says between 15/06 and 15/09.

Using the far more realistic figure of 600k vaccinations/week, it's between October 2021 and March 2022.

Before I did the calculator, I would have guessed Q1 2022. So I think that is probably accurate enough as a calculation.

I think they will be vaccinating right up until summer 2022 at least.

Toy Soldier 17-12-2020 03:51 PM

My wife gets hers as soon as she asks for one cos NHS innit... Although her risk category is even lower than mine (2 years younger and females at less risk).

I don't want to be negative or anything - it is a great achievement. But isn't it possible that by the time it becomes widely available the virus will be burning itself out?

How does Covid compare to previous pandemics?

Smithy 17-12-2020 04:05 PM

Based on your profile, there are between 503,378 and 4,384,545 people in front of you in the queue for a COVID vaccine across the UK.
Given a vaccination rate of 1,000,000 a week and an uptake of 70.6%, you should expect to receive your vaccine between 21/12/2020 and 17/01/2021.
