What do you do in the interval between Christmas and the new year?
 

Does that weird in-between week leave you inebriated on the couch for long hours in a go or do you try and make plans?

its just normal days again

Today I go out and shoot two turtle doves.

Tomorrow I'll be wringing the necks of three French hens.

The day after I'll be waiting for four birds to call me.

The next day I usually buy those four birds a Gold ring each and I usually buy a spare one too.

The Christmas holiday last's until the 5th of January. I won't be going back to work until after that.

Being your own boss does have its perks.

Watch the football/darts/movies/walks

Last year we said we would go away somewhere for a few nights but that ain’t happening obviously

Just chill and relax now all the hard work is over...watch a film or two and avoid the shops at all cost...

I usually work but for the first time in my working life, the office is shut for xmas week. I usually like going in though as it breaks up the week. Have lots to do...walks, games, films etc. My son has an action packed week planned for us apparently :worry:. Starting with an I'm a Celeb game that involves eating weird bugs....:yuk:

I love it, it's a bit of a limbo where you're never really sure what day and date it is. Don't take the decorations down until Little Christmas, so I generally just float around and wait for the new year, maybe catching up with friends and relatives I didn't see on Christmas Day.

Working this year but normally just eat/drink as if it’s Xmas til the food and ale runs out then go back to normal after that ffff

i have some rest time as the run up to Christmas is a busy time work wise, i can have more than 3 hours sleep a day :laugh:

although i might call tomorrow ''third christmas day'' since it is a sunday, another relaxed day
