737's are very safe aircraft under normal circumstances

Ammi 09-01-2021 10:23 AM

...what’s being reported atm is, more than 50 people on board...and that the plane lost more than 3,000m (10,000ft) in altitude in less than a minute...

The plane is not a 737 Max, the Boeing model involved in two major crashes in recent years.

Your title is wrong

They have picked up a signal of the Plane
but also body parts.

This sad
it appears all to have
died in the sea.

I read this morning that another Aircraft crashed last year not far from where this one came down. Apparently of the two pilots, one had not flown at all for many months and the other only 4 times over a few months due to the virus and reduction of flights..

Indonesia has a dreadful aircraft safety record over the years to the point they were banned from America and Europe. That ban was lifted in 2018, but the pandemic has probably driven their safety back down again with the lack of money around
