How is your BARNET?

I have had to buy clippers and im going to cut my hair later

i dont mind doing it but I hate the mess it makes and its kind of unavoidable. WHen i lived remotely i would take smallest boy LT out the front by the river and sit him on a stool and cut his hair and it would all blow away:flutter:

How is your hair and what are you going to do about it?

The length isn’t too bad atm, I had it cut at the beginning of December, it’s more my roots im worried about :worry:

Ammi 20-01-2021 03:14 PM

...it’s really quite long but I’m loving it tbh, so I’m just going to watch it grow...

Niamh. 20-01-2021 03:16 PM

I had mine done in December before the salons closed again so it's fine. I've been doing Gavins since the first Lock Down

...I didn’t even have roots, as in it wasn’t coloured...but for some reason I went completely blonde last Summer and since then it’s grown in darker again, so very two tone...

I usually only get a yearly shearing as i don't like having my hair cut, but i also don't like long hair as i get entangled in it when i sleep. This year it got ridiculous and i was starting to look like cousin IT, but luckily I managed to get an appointment between lockdowns to get it all chopped off again ( which was hard believe me as my hairdresser is amazingingly popular and was having to open from 6am to accomodate just his regulars, he had to turn away any new enquiries) So its at a manageable shoulder length now...

Skin head. And when it grows a bit to long, and I start looking like a tennis ball, I get the shaver out and give myself another skin head.

In my younger days I had long hair with a fanny parting, that was the look in the early 90s.

What the hell is a 'fanny' parting ~ and why do you think your head looks like a 'fanny' :cheer2:

Shaun Ryder's hair in this video, that's what we called a "fanny parting" Some people called it "Curtains"

Shaun was a God to us back then, so of course, we copied his hairstyle.

I'm near the point again of "just shave it off" but knowing me the day/week after I do that barbers will miraculously be reopened! :joker:

So I'm holding out for as long as I can. :fc:
